Lines of Wisdom

There is something about these turbaned Rajasthani men that makes me want to sketch them and paint them more often. They make a wonderful subject. The darks and lights in the sketch are more pronounced but as I always say, I have problems getting a good photograph of a graphite work.

  1. Once again I amazed by the number textures you are able to portray with graphite. The folds on his turban are immaculate, the skin, his beard...what can I say,you did a fantastic job!
