Drop of Life

This is again a submission to The Green Palette and the topic for this week being Water Conservation. Found  the reference photo on internet long back and what caught my sight was this sparkling drop of water.I felt this was perfect for the topic water conservation and so finally put it in paint.

Here is a submission for the blog Rookiepainter. The lemon in the reference photo was so brightly colored that  it really prompted me to paint it instantly.But,very clearly i couldn't manage to get that bright yellow. But the background gives it a feeling of a dark room with a single source of light so somehow i got convinced with the color of the lemon not being that bright.What do you have to say?
