I absolutely love the luminosity of the watercolors but at the same time its such an unpredictable medium.At times, its happy surprises and at times,disastrous results and I have experienced both.One wrong brush stroke and you ruin a painting.I almost ruined this one but fortunately,it turned out well for me.:)

ReplyDeleteLove the many different textures; shadows and lights. Makes me wonder where the stairs go and what is in the bowl. I love the open door. Very nice painting, Yasha. You do well with watercolors.

ReplyDeleteLove the cool blue colours,I can imagine walking off a hot street in summer into a cool interior,maybe a courtyard in the middle with some leafy shade.This has really set off my imagination which is what great paintings do.Very well done Yasha!
ReplyDeleteThe blue reminds me of Jodhpur.. the rustic look of the wall and the light on the steps is beautifully done, the title tells a message :-)
