Hello everyone! Three months since my last post and I myself find it hard to believe. But, it's such a relief to be painting again.Definitely, I did feel rusty and at a point almost gave up. But I am glad, I showed a little patience and completed this piece.
This was a new brand of watercolor paper I used and liked the way it behaved. I tried using a limited color palette here and satisfied with how it finally turned out, as I never expected I could even finish it after the way I struggled initially.:)
Yasha, this is just beautiful. The light you achieved, the wonderful blues, and the composition were well worth the struggle. I love it. I am so glad you have taken up your brushes again. You are too talented and your work is too good to let this gift go.
ReplyDeleteI am sure, the time spent on bringing sun on to this painting was itself sunny and cheerful, the struggle doesnt show, Yasha, glad you could finish this piece.
