Innocence

This is a pencil portrait of my nephew Raghav. He is grown up and a school going kid now,but I chose a photo from his early childhood days for this sketch.Unfortunately,I never got a chance to meet him but all thanks to the social networking sites,I have only seen him grow in his pictures which his Mom posts on Facebook.I am not sure about the percentage of resemblance but loved sketching him.Had to work hard to get his cute little pout right :-)

  3. It is a nice sketch. It is hard to capture emotions from a photograph but you have done justice to it.

  4. It's obvious how much time and detail you put into this drawing. Good work! (My only suggestion would be to add more light areas to increase the contrast.)

My mom lives far away and so rarely see's my kids but through my blog she is able to watch them grow from afar. Computer and the Internet is a real love/hate relationship.

  9. Nice works and blogspot, Yasha. I don't know how long you will be able to keep the word amateur in your bio, though. You are doing very well.
