Happy To Be Single-SOLD


Last week was completely dedicated to this painting.It wasn't that this piece was laborious, but that I couldn't find  much time to paint.So,I am happy to finish this somehow.
I thought of submitting this piece to TGP where the recent topic is "Adapt".I did not start it as a submission piece but when Tanya Amberson posted this recent challenge,I  found this piece to be fit for it. Waterlily being  an aquatic  plant has adaptations which supports life in water.Being a student of biology my mind keeps moving to adaptations in its cells and tissues.I better stick to my art blog.:)

    Gradients are awesome. Nice work.
    And drifting from art to science, I think its natural. Science is also an art, sort of. :)

    Yasha,this is beautiful.You have captured the light on the lily perfectly,and each petal so well defined.The lily pads look amazing.I hope you have a great weekend too.
