Last ten days or so had been extremely busy for me.Never found enough time to paint.I am glad this weekend I managed to paint something.This is a quick watercolor work which is done from a photograph that I clicked a few years back when I visited Simlipal National Forest with my family.Have some great memories of the trip.Not very satisfied with the way this piece turned out but I was simply happy to paint something.This piece also goes as my first entry to the blog In The Moment Challenge where the topic for the challenge is "Tranquil".
My cousin is getting married on 20th of this month and so, I will be away from the painting zone for some more time but I am super excited for a family get together. Wishing all a very happy Valentine's Day.:)
Yasha this painting fits the title perfectly! You've captured the river and its reflections beautifully.What a tranquil scene indeed. So happy to see you painting.I hope you enjoy the wedding and Valentines Day. : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections and color, Yasha. :)

ReplyDeleteColours are really cool & reflections are looking awsome.
@Azra thank you so much.I was actually not sure how the reflections would turn out.:)
ReplyDelete@Carol thank you so much for your lovely comment.
@Amit Thank you so much.
Very beautiful painting and I also think it fits the title so well! You handle color so well and the reflections are great too!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME painting. It looks more like a real photograph.
ReplyDeleteWould have put it as my desktop wallpaper, but the size is too small. :)
Nice work.

There is something wrong with my internet connection today, I think. My last comment just went off the wire.
ReplyDeleteI feel the 'tranquility' in your painting Yasha. It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteLovely painting, Yasha. It has a nice calming feel to it. It's funny, but we have a similar looking flow of water near where I live. I almost thought it was the same place!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely painting, yasha. Wonderful reflections . . . and yes it speaks "tranquil".
ReplyDeleteThe composition is very strong, nice shadows. The greens are so soft and the touches of yellow and blue are perfect. Definitely a place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Thank you for a wonderful submission to "In the Moment".
