On The Foothills

Laid my hands on watercolors after a very long time. This medium definitely needs a lot of practice.I did feel a lot rusty as the strokes wouldn't come out smooth. But, the fact is I love using watercolors. If the result is good,it boosts up your confidence and if not, it can be a good learning experience. That is optimistic me.:)

  2. Yasha, it is a lovely effort especially with so many elements incorporated in to it. If not anything else, the water colors teach me patience and it is quite a meditative process to observe the colors running in to wet on wet!

  3. Yasha, I love the blues and how the light and shade areas work together to carry the eye around the painting.
I'm kind of jealous of how good you are with any medium! (just kidding, I'm actually rejoicing to see you are back to producing wonderful art and challenging yourself once more with a medium you don't feel comfortable with). Great job!

  4. I think this is beautiful. The colours are so pure and rich. I also like the portrait sketch of your husband in the previous posts. It is just great. I am very sorry for the unfortunate incident. May he rest in peace.
