The 7 Links Project

Last week I shifted to Bangalore for a course in Clinical Data Management and since then I couldn't access the internet. Now I have kind of settled down, got an internet connection, but have not been able to paint, as I spent most of the free time exploring the city. But,will soon be painting again for sure.

Meanwhile,my artist friend and fellow blogger Pragya Tiwari  tagged me in 7 Links Project, the purpose of which is "To unite bloggers (from all sectors) in a joint endeavor to share lessons learned and create a bank of long but not forgotten blog posts that deserve to see the light of day again." The following are the seven categories and the blog owner is asked to link a top post under each category and then tag 7 other bloggers so that the chain continues.

Your most beautiful post
Your most popular post
Your most controversial post
Your most helpful post
A post whose success surprised you
A post you feel didn't get the attention it deserved
The post you are most proud of

So here are my choices
1.My most beautiful post: Sparkle
One of my favorites.Did put in a lot of time but the outcome was very satisfactory.

2.My most popular post: Intense Gaze
Got some wonderful response on this post, here on my blog as well as on Facebook.

3.My most controversial post: Blooming Tulips
Was my first ever attempt with oil.Not sure if it really qualifies under this category or not but this painting was a difficult task for me and I got some mixed reactions on the post.Fellow artists came up with a few suggestions which was really helpful later on.

4.My most helpful post: Serious Gossips
I wouldn't consider this post to be very helpful for others but as far as I am concerned,it did help me a lot as I learnt the art of patience while working on this painting.

5.Post whose success surprised me: Feeling The Wet Sand
This was my first figurative painting and it was a pleasant surprise to see wonderful comments flow.It really boosted my confidence :)

6.A post you feel didn't get the attention it deserved: Down The Muddy Lane
Most of my work has been well received except for those at the start of the blog. But if I had to choose one it would be the one below.

7.The post I am most proud of: Theist
Attempted a portrait in color for the first time and it came out well. The main reason for choosing this painting under the category is that this happens to be my father's favorite.

So,now my turn to tag 7 other bloggers and here goes the list.

  1. Thank You Yasha, I have seen all of them before too, and they all are beautiful, there is no doubt about it.

I'll try to get on with the linking process as soon as possible, but in case I forget, which often I do, do remind me again, rather keep nagging until its done :)

    Cheers,
